Bio: Hi, my name is Rianna Kearns. I am a Senior Animal Health Technology major with a minor in Equine Science. This is my fourth year in the AHT/Pre-Vet Club. I am from a small town just outside of Paris, Ky. I have a dog named Molly, she is a golden retriever/black lab mix. I am serving as your 2009-2010 AHT/Pre-vet Club President. I am the chief executive officer of the club, I preside over all meetings, I have general supervision over the affairs of the club and I also attend Agricultural Leadership Council Meetings. I am very excited about this semester!

Bio: Hello! My name is Elizabeth Whitsett & I am currently the Vice President of Murray State’s AHT/Pre-Vet Club. I was born & raised in Louisville, KY, but over the years have begun to consider Murray a second home. This is my senior year attending MSU studying under the Pre-veterinary medicine Area with a Chemistry minor & Music Performance minor.

Bio: I'm Rachel Haley, a senior Pre-Veterinary student,
and currently serving as your secretary. I am from
Lebanon Jct. KY where my family has a small beef
farm. We also own some chickens, a sheep, two dogs, a
cat and two horses. As you secretary I will be taking
all of the meeting minutes, attendance sheets,
various paperwork, and updating the Blackboard

Bio: My name is Dominique Peel and I am the club Historian. I am a sophomore and a Pre-Vet major. I have two cats and two dogs. You'll see me around club functions taking pictures, so I want to see smiles! I will compile these pictures into one big scrapbook at the end of the year. I will also hang fliers around campus to let everyone know what's happening and also when it's happening. I'm also in charge of updating the Carman Animal Binder and the bulletin board in the front classroom. Finally, I will be in charge of maintaining the club's website.

Bio: Hi, my name is Leigh Basham. I am a junior here at the university and this will be my third year in the AHT/Pre-vet club. I am from Roanoke, Virginia, and came here with my horse and dog. My major is Animal Health Technology. I currently hold the position of Public Relations Chair. With that I will be finding and introducing speakers, planning social gatherings, writing and placing articles in the media and most importantly designing and getting T-shirts made for the club. I look forward to this following year and being able to serve as the Public Relations Chair.

Bio: Hi guys my name is Becca Mattingly and I am sophomore here at Murray and I love it! I am from Lexington Ky. I am the Fundraising Chair for the club. I am responsible for

Bio: Hi, my name is Krystal Campbell and I am a senior in the Animal Health Technology program. I am your Community Service officer and my duties include:
• Carmen Animal enrichment
• Helping local groups within the community
• Education for the club and community
I also head up the new sub-committee that allows members to become more involved doing internships for the Humane Society, helping at the local shelter, and being mentors for new students. I look forward to seeing everyone and a great year helping out!
